Why I don’t post about wines I didn’t like….

I have had a few questions about this, so I thought I would explain why “not all wines make the list”

Just because I don’t like it, doesn’t mean it isn’t good or you won’t like it.

I never want to criticise or be judgemental to anyones work, passion or dream.

I started winereview_simple to recommend wine to friends and family. That has grown to a new audience, like yourself, but my main objective is still to recommend wine, whether that be something different, unique or the best wine I’ve had.

If everyone had the same taste, we all would be driving the same car and listening to the same music…simple…

If you think Queensland doesn't produce great wines, think again.

I'm talking about my new home state of Queensland, which may have the beaches and lifestyle, but it is not really one of my favourite wine regions.

But, The Times They Are a-Changin (thanks Bob).

This without question the best Queensland wine I have tasted.

I let La Petite Mort (LPM) describe this wine themselves, LPM is the home of our 'other' wines. Unusual, confronting and a little left of the middle. These small batch, experimental wines are produced with minimal wine making intervention and put into bottle without filtering or fining to allow the raw essence of our experimentation to shine through. Rustic and characterful, LPM wines promise a unique sensory experience and a story behind every label.

Queensland may have found their niche with some Spanish el vino...simple...
