🍷🆚🍷 Last night, I had the pleasure of tasting these two wines side by side. Every time I taste a 2004 red Burgundy against another vintage, I am always relieved that I don't have much in the cellar. The 2007 Clos de Tart destroyed the 2004. 🐞 I'm not sure what ladybugs taste like exactly, but there was definite high-toned spearmint, almost faint tiger balm chemical note from the nose through the finish. I have had a few bottles of the 04 Clos de Tart, and it has always had that note on it for me. In isolation, it isn't that bad, but in comparison with another vintage, it just becomes so obvious.
