There are 4 wines in the Pirathon range, Blue, Silver, Black and Gold, all target different price points though the style remains fairly consistent. Blue and Silver hit you with great QPR, whilst Black and Gold ramp up the decadence and spice. @Pirathonwines Silver 17, classic rich dark berry fruit, plums and blackberry, liquorice, tobacco, and charry spice on the nose, quite seductive. Full, powerful and joyfully smooth on the palate, plums, dark cherries, blackberry, dark chocolate, liquorice, cedar, and vanilla, fine grippy tannin, good length. If the Barossa is your go-to and classic Shiraz the variety, then I’d say this is well worth a go 👌🏽🍷🙏🏼
