Woodlands Chardonnay 2020, a wine I’ve been meaning to try for a while now given it’s been recommended a few dozen times. So, were they good recommendations? Would I trust these people again? Definitely yes. Plenty of quality here to wrap your chops around. The nose is bang on, white peaches and nectarines, honeydew, white grapefruit, zest and all, quite floral, honeysuckle, a little flinty action also. Similarly the palate displays the same stone fruit and citrus combo, bolstered by a toasty vanilla spice and creamy texture that’s pretty delicious truth be told. Nothing to quibble about here, quality is written all over this wine 👌🏽🍷🙏🏼
