The ‘Christina’ line of wines is a reflection of her love for ancient winemaking methods. Hand harvested grapes are from a vineyard with “chilled winds of the nearby River Danube” and red gravel and loess soils. Whole bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel, unfined and unfiltered. Foggy light gold in colour, with aromas of lemon, granny smith apple, pear, grapefruit, saline minerality. Tingley, tangy acidity glitters over lemon, pink grapefruit and pineapple. Citrus and a shake of white pepper linger on the crisp, saline finish.
