Mattara Grampians Shiraz 2019, a boutique wine with a boutique feel, I love that, sounds obvious but it’s not always the case. Lovely fresh cool climate Shiraz fruit on the nose, plum, black raspberry, tayberry, vanilla oak spice playing cameo role, just enough, done well. The palate’s fresh, vibrant and textural with concentrated dark fruit flavours, liquorice, and black pepper, fine tannins, very good finish, quite long. Super enjoyable 👏🏼🍷🙏🏼
