2020 Wildman - Astro Bunny Pét-Nat @timwildman ℹ️ This wine is a blend of 50% Fiano, 20% Zibibbo, 15% Arneis, and 15% Nero d'Avola from the Riverland region in South Australia. This wine is a Pét-Nat, a lightly fizzy wine made by bottling the wine before the fermentation finishes. The fermentation finishes in the bottle and is not typically disgorged. Essentially nothing is added. The Zibibbo receives skin contact for 24 hours. 👁 Medium hazy orange color. 👃 Medium+ intensity on the nose. Aromas of orange sherbet, watermelon rind, grapefruit zest, melon sorbet, and elderflower. 👄 The wine is dry, medium acidity, subtle medium-sized bubbles, medium- alcohol (12%), and medium+ body. The palate has a creamy texture to it. A short length finish of orange sherbet and blood orange peel. 🔔 Great packaging 🚀🐰. An interesting mix of Italian grapes in the blend, but I love the Ozzies for mixing it up. Astro Bunny is an extremely clean natural wine that is very expressive on the nose and palate. 💯 Glou Glou wine!
