Wine number 3 of the @winejourney __ Victorian Chardonnay

Wine number 3 of the @winejourney __ Victorian Chardonnay exploration and it’s by far the best of the three, Bellvale’s ‘Athena's Vineyard' Chardonnay 2017. The nose is all up lemons and nectarine, caps guns and flint with a touch of almond in the mix too. The play between citrus, stone fruit, floral sweetness and flintiness on the palate is quite brilliant and is equaled by the length of the finish, which is long should you wonder. For a Chardy at 12.5% it packs serious flavour, definitely one to try 🙏🏼🍷👏🏼
