Dedicated to ancient winemaking traditions, Chiavennasca
12/23/2021, 8:57:09 PM Dedicated to ancient winemaking traditions, Chiavennasca [Nebbiolo] and listening to the land, Angelo Sega along with his sons Luca and Matteo farm 6 hectares of vineyards on steep, terraced slopes in Valtellina, just south of the Swiss border. Grapes are from vineyards at 400-750 meters above sea level. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts in stainless steel and concrete, aged in old barrels for 9 months, unfiltered. Ruby red in colour, with aromas of black cherry, rose petal, forest floor and a hint of coconut. Cherry, strawberry, white pepper, pristine minerality and herbs are framed by firm tannins and fresh acidity. Licorice and black cherry linger between each silky sip. Eloquent and sleek. 100% Nebbiolo 12.5% Alcohol Barbacàn Rosso di Valtellina DOC 2018 #vinobiologico #vinvivant #vinivaltellina #vinonaturale #organicwine #chiavennasca #nebbiolo #vinnature #lowinterventionwine #drinkbetterwine #rossodivaltellina #vinonaturaleitaliano #vinbio #winelabel #vinbiologique #nebbiololover #winereview #vinoitaliano #italianwinelover #vinorosso #vinnaturel #redwine #italianwine #instavino #lowintervention #winestagram #instawine #barbacan #barbac càn #caravino
