Monday night Montepulciano Primitivo curtesy of Langmeil, Barossa Valley. Full and pretty on the nose, very inviting, dark plums and rose petal, a little woody and savoury. Bright red fruit and a smidge of cassis on the palate with a dried and earthy herb undertone balancing the juiciness, fine tannin, good structure and length. Really very enjoyable, especially on a Monday.
