Collecting in verticals has become somewhat of an obsession
8/4/2021, 12:45:20 PM Collecting in verticals has become somewhat of an obsession of mine lately, and by lately I mean always. Likely a symptom of my OCD but nevertheless they’re an awesome way to collect. Some are planned, others chance buys, some good, and others exceptional. Standish Wine Co Lamella Shiraz 2015 to 2018 are a chance vertical and 4 of the finest Shiraz releases in the country that also happen to be every vintage to date. It’s amazing to think that after only 4 vintages this wine is a unicorn in the wild, a buy on sight proposition.
