Generally Pinot Gris doesn’t excite me much, it’s very nice

Generally Pinot Gris doesn’t excite me much, it’s very nice and all that, but I’d pick a Chardonnay or Riesling instead. Amrit Pinot Gris on the other hand, now this is a very different drop. Golden champagne and ever so slightly hazy in the glass, silver and gold all at once. Super intriguing on the nose, preserved pineapple, lychee, green pears, slightly salty. On the palate it’s rich, toasty, almost effervescent, pears and green pineapple, and a flat champagne-esque texture that’s bizarrely brilliant. I’m a big fan of this.
