Father and son Sergio and Paulo Bombetti farm their 2 hectares of traditional vines with organic and low intervention methods. Vineyards are 300 meters in elevation, with volcanic, tuffaceous soils. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, 8 days skin contact. Aged in fiberglass. Minimal added sulfur, no filtering or fining. Transparent garnet in colour, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, bramble and wildflowers. Blueberry, red currant, sour cherry, blackberry, earth and bramble are accented by fresh acidity. Cherry, black cherry, cranberry and vein of flinty minerality linger on the fruity finish.
