Danilo Thomain is the 3rd generation of his family to craft wines from the tiny 1 hectare estate his grandfather (Giuseppe Thomain), founded in 1920. Transparent garnet in colour with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, floral and a trace of soft spice. Blackberry jam, a dollop of tart black currant, bramble and white pepper are layered over fresh acidity and silky tannins. A mineral undercurrent runs all the way thru to the dry, fruity finish. Engaging and friendly, fantastic on its own or with a wide variety of dishes.
