2014 Hanzell - Sebella Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (87 pts) #winereview - Medium ruby color. Medium+ intensity on the nose. Aromas of ripe raspberry, ripe Bing cherry, and ripe red plum. Also, stemmy, tree bark, and some fresh cinnamon. The wine is dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium- fine tannins that are a bit spicy (presumably from oak), and medium body. The fruit is pure ripe red fruit, there is a freshness or crunchiness to it. Strawberry, Bing cherry, red plum, and red currant. There is a slight white pepper note as well. The finish is medium- length and is very clean. This is a good representation of Sonoma Coast. Again I think this AVA is ginormous, so hard for me to pinpoint Terroir. I like the expression of fruit, it's clean and balanced. There seems to be some use of whole cluster, that adds a bit to the nose but doesn't elevate the palate. Solid wine from a good producer, that would probably be a crowd pleaser. #california #sonoma #sonomacoast #hanzellvineyards #hanzell #sebella #wine #vin #vino #葡萄酒 #vinho #wein #winelover #winegeek #winetasting #wsetdiploma #winestagram #wineterroir #sommelier #winelife #wineoclock #postmorewine #lovewine #winetime #wineporn #instawine
