2015 Vigneti Massa - Terra Petit Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi (85 pts) #winereview - Medium lemon color. Medium- intensity on the nose. Aromas of stainless steel, sea shells, wet rock, bruised yellow apple, lime blossom, and faintly of oregano. The wine is dry, medium+ acidity, medium- alcohol, and medium+ fairly weighty body. The palate is all about mineral flavors from wet rock, chalk, steel, to sea shells. Almost a salty component and then some citrus and floral notes on the medium- length finish. Interesting wine, this is lowest end offering of Walter Massa who saved this varietal from extinction. I am going to try his single vineyards soon based on this bottle. A lot of texture and weight for an entry level wine.
