1982 Chateau Gazin - Pomerol (88 pts) #winereview - While this wine was enjoyable, it was clearly on the tail end of its life. Medium garnet and tawny rim. Medium intensity on the nose. Notes of dried red fruit, red plum, prunes, earthy, sandalwood, and leather. The wine was dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium- resolved tannins, and medium body. The palate had very little fruit and was missing some of the velvety palate that you get with Pomerol wines.
