2007 Chateau Suduiraut - Sauternes (94 pts) #winereview - Medium+ Gold color. Medium+ intensity on the nose. Aromas of botrytis, new plastic, honey, candied peaches, ripe pineapple, and subtle vanilla toasty notes from oak. The wine was sweet, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, and medium+ body. The palate was extremely balanced the sweetness was cut through by lively acidity. This is a very botrytis heavy wine, but there is a complexity to it on the palate. Ripe pineapple, candied peach, candied ginger, lemon zest, and honey. The finish is long and this wine has a long life ahead.
