4/26/2021, 5:22:47 PM ⭐️87/100⭐️ Nanclares y Prieto Dandelion, 2017 📍El Salnés, Rías Baixas, Galicia, Spain🇪🇸 🍇100% Albariño Tasted: January 2020 Alberto Nanclares and Silvia Prieto are specialized in the variety of Albariño, having fourteen vineyards spread over a total of 5 hectares with vines of 30 to 100 years of age. They stick to the principles of minimum intervention, seeking biological balance between the plants and the terroir. To help reaching the perfect balance, they fertilize their vineyards with compost made from grape pomace and algae collected in the Ría de Arousa. The aromas are showing pure notes of gooseberry, lime peel, fresh nectarine, grapefruit, grass and white flowers with a beautiful mineral touch of dry stone and chalk.
The palate offers mouth-watering acidity with notes of fresh lime, honeydew, dandelion (not surprising according to the label😉) and a medium long saline finish.
The whole-cluster fermentation gives an extra green and dry touch to the juice.
