St Hallett Old Block on a school night will take some beating this week. A blend of exceptional Eden and Barossa Valley fruit that delivers elegance and power. Clearly opened ahead of it’s prime, but it performs beautifully with concentrated blackberry, dark cherries, anise and pepper on the nose. Super refined, focused, and powerful on the palate, with dark fruits intertwined with spices, mint, and sweet tobacco all dancing above a wave of drying tannins. Quite the experience. Fantastic wine!
