3/15/2021, 9:12:59 PM I Vini di Giovanni is a collaboration between renowned Umbrian natural winemaker Danilo Marcucci and Sardinian native, Umbrian raised shepherd/winemaker Giovanni Mesina. Driven “to capture the magical expression of the fruit and the earth”, Giovanni farms organically, with biodynamic principles and a minimal intervention approach in both the vineyard and cellar. Fermentation with native yeasts, “2 days on the skins, stainless steel, no sulfur additions. Roughly 1000 bottles made.” _ Gold in colour with aromas of honey, apricot, chamomile, citrus blossom, hay, terracotta and candied ginger. Lemon, grapefruit, candied ginger, earth, saline minerality and a trace of eucalyptus are glossed with tangy acidity.
