This organic beauty of a wine shows impressing freshness and elegance without saying bye bye to power and muscularity - known from the usual Montsant wines. The bouquet is quite explosive with plums, blackberry, violets and a scent of horse stable. The palate is filled with blackberry, well mature cherry, chocolate, coffee, raw liquorice, pepper and balsamico. This is just a super nice, well balanced Spanish pleaser. With a backbone of garnatxa, complemented by syrah, merlot, carignan and cabernet sauvignon, a well structured and powerful wine is secured. You don’t miss either body, fruit, spices, acidity, oak or the minerality. - 40% are aged in concrete vats and amphora, the 60% are aged small and big barrels (300 to 4000 litres).
