In very short time Pierre has made his mark as one of the best producers of white Bourgogne. His wines are serious joy - and actually very fair priced for the quality and the Bourgogne standards. This is a really awesome entry level wine. No doubt it’s one of the best Bourgogne Blancs (labeled as) I’ve ever had. Crispy, mineral and elegant with a clean touch of oak. Lovely aroma of toast, browned butter, quince and flint. On the palate, I had yellow apple, pear, lemon zest, light honey and almonds. And the minerality, wow! It sure is a powerful wine (without getting too heavy or over oaked), but it has elegance as I rarely find in a standard wine.
