Grey Sands Malbec, from Tasmania. Yes, Tassie Malbec, the only one! Stunning colour, dark, brooding. On the nose, mulberry driven, slightly sweet, with a tobacco leaf, earthy charm. On the palate it’s a medium bodied, dark fruited, savoury beaut with tannins that serge from the back to the front of your palate, quite impressive really. Definitely a baby, could do 10 years easily. I’d love to put some of these away and forget about them. Really enjoyed it!
