Listing on our website is absolutely FREE for invited restaurants and you can withdraw at any time. Your only obligation is to permit Club members to BYO for no or substantially reduced corkage fees (typically between £5 and £15 per bottle), subject to reasonable restrictions, such as a minimum spend per person.
Why Join BYO Wine Club?
Increase revenues without across-the-board discounts. With BYO Wine Club, you can target wine enthusiasts — a high-spending restaurant-going audience — rather than indiscriminately offering concessions to all of your patrons. This enables you to continue to enjoy gross profit margins on wine sold to regular customers while selectively using BYO to attract and retain new, quality diners.
Valuable promotions. We will promote your restaurant via our website, social media and our monthly newsletter. You will also benefit from targeted marketing efforts aimed at growing our membership, including advertising, PR and cross-promotions with leading wine merchants.
Not a discount programme. While reduced corkage fees are a benefit to our Club members and an incentive to visit participating restaurants, we are not a discount programme. We therefore tend to attract consumers with higher spending habits than those drawn to websites promoting special offers.
You are in control. To ensure you attract bookings when you need them most and maximise spend per head, we will work with you to to customise your BYO offer. For example, you have the flexibility of offering BYO only on specific days (e.g. weekdays) or at specific times (e.g. lunch), setting reasonable corkage charges (typically between £5 and £15 per bottle), requiring a minimum spend per person, stipulating the maximum number of bottles per table, etc.
Easy to manage. No complicated online booking system. Diners book directly through your restaurant identifying themselves as BYO Wine Club members.
Cancel at anytime. You can withdraw your restaurant from our website on thirty days’ notice.
It costs you nothing. Promoting your restaurant on BYO Wine Club is absolutely FREE.
